Managerial Courage-This is one of my favorites- Grant has had to make a lot of unpopular decisions as a Manager but it is always the best decision for the Company. It take alot of guts to make the hard decisions and he does it with grace. He is a great problem solver and knows how to get the job done.

 

What a first day

When Grant was hired on for the Terminal Manager for Boise Cascade in DeRidder LA-it took us 3 days of driving to make it to Jasper TX-about an hour away from our destination- He wasn’t due to report to work for another 4 days when he got a phone call-there had been a fatality at the Mill and he had to report ASAP- So I dropped him off and saw him 3 days later-

He was put in charge of the investigation into the accident-a new company-new people- and he was a pro! It was not the start we expected but it goes to show how he can handle any situation he is thrown into and succeed in whatever he puts his mind to.
